We have a 15 year history as a wellness destination company hosting yoga retreats. Pura Vida Spa has four gorgeous yoga halls and a can host groups of over 100 in our 52 rooms, villas and suites.
Group rates include accommodations, all meals, round trip airport transfer, and taxes. Our healthy menu features vegetarian dishes as well as fish, chicken and seafood. Pura Vida has a wine and juice bar and offers fresh wheat grass shots daily. Ananda Hall: up to 80 people Ananda Hall has a teak flooring with a panoramic view of the central valley from a large veranda. Ananda has three walls of windows and one solid wall. A fireplace is available for Satsang and meditation. There are five standing heaters available for large groups interested in hot Yoga The dimensions are 43 x 43 feet with 43 feet of wall space and 128 feet of window space.
Lila Hall: up to 50 people Our newly renovated Lila Hall is now designed to meet all the typical requirements for the idea HOT YOGA practice. The hall has three infrared propane heaters located on our 12 foot high ceilings. The hall is thoroughly insulated. Heat rises to more than 106 degrees Farenheit. Floors are Almendra hard wood. The dimensions of Lila are 26 x 52 feet with 39 feet of wall space.
Bhakti Hall: up to 20 people Bhakti Hall has a tile floor and garden view. Bhakti is a very quiet hall suited for yoga, meditation, painting, and writing. The dimensions of Bhakti are 39 x 16 feet with 72 feet of wall space and 32 feet of window space. Bhakti can hold up to 20 people.
Shanti Hall: up to 16 people Shanti Hall is the smallest of Pura Vida’s halls with teak flooring and a view of the central valley. Shanti has heaters to accommodate hot yoga. The dimensions are 36x16 feet and has one mirrored wall and 3 walls with windows and no wall space.
Audio: The Ananda and Lila hall's are equipped with a sound system that can play CD's and cassettes with IPOD hookup. The Bakti and Shanti hall's have a boom box for cassette tapes. Video: There is one 32" TV monitor and video player. Remote Mics: We have two systems available for use. Dry Erase Boards: Each hall has one. Writing Supplies: These must be ordered in advance. A small fee will be charged to students. Instruments: We have 10 djembes, a variety of percussion and rhythm instruments on site. Yoga Props: All yoga halls have been equipped with the highest quality of mats and we have plenty of blankets, belts, and blocks.
